After an early breakfast at your hotel or lodge in Nakuru, you will check out and begin your journey to the world-renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The drive typically takes around 6 hours, passing through scenic stretches of the Great Rift Valley, local towns, and expansive highlands. You’ll likely stop briefly in Narok town for refreshments, fuel, or a bathroom break before continuing toward the Mara. Upon arrival in the early afternoon, you’ll check in at your budget safari camp or lodge, such as Rhino Tourist Camp or Enchoro Wildlife Camp.
